More than 100 years ago K-State scientists developed a hog cholera vaccine to protect hard-working farmers and their herds. Today, that tradition manifests itself in the Biosecurity Research Institute, a secure high-level research facility that serves as the front line in protecting our food supply.
At our new Olathe campus, the International Animal Health and Food Safety Institute answers the call for much needed work force education, research and graduate programs. Innovation, hard work and dedication are long-standing traditions at K-State.
We call it the Wildcat way.
