OVERVIEW

Abandoned Cart Followup Magento Extension enables users to send a reminder email to the customers who added a product to the cart but did not purchase. Store owners can leverage the advantage of this extension to increase sales.

Installation Steps1. Clear the store cache under var/cache and all cookies for your store domain.

2. Disable compilation for Magento 1.4+. Log into Magento Admin Panel and go to System → Tools → Compilation and disable the compilation.

Be sure that the Compilation Сode is disabled (System->Tools --

>Compilation)

Installation Steps3. Disable JS & CSS merging

Navigate to System->Configuration->Developer Tab and disable "Merge 

css / js". We suggest that you enable error reporting.

Installation Steps4. Upload file manually

If you use a different from default theme - be sure to rename app/design/frontend/default/default and skin/frontend/default/default folders to your store's values. Using your FTP client upload content to your store root.

Installation Steps5. Clear Cache

Then navigate to System->Cache Storage Management and and clear 

Cache.

Do select and Refresh it by pressing submit button

6. Log out then log back in to your admin panel.

Configuration Site Level Configuration• Go to the System >> Configuration >>Brainvire >>Abandonedcartsfollowup Followup Email Settings.

• Click on “Abandonedcartsfollowup Followup Email Settings” menu.

Here you find the following settings

• Enable: enable/disable the module• Choose the followup email sender from drop down• Choose the email template from this drop down for that 

i. first create a transaction email template from “System → Transactional email”ii. Click on “Add new Template”iii. Choose Template type to “Abandoned Carts Followup Email Template”.iv. Click on “Load template”v. Set template Namevi. Then click on “save template” button.

• Choose suitable setting click on “save” button.

Configuration Under “Reports” ->Abandonedcartsfollowup Followup, this extension shows a Abandoned cart Followup log.

• On the screen, the extension will show Abandoned carts details.

UninstallTo force Magento uninstall the module. Then replace <active>true</active> with <active>false</active> in the following files:

app/etc/modules/Brainvire_Abandonedcartsfollowup.xml<Brainvire_Abandonedcartsfollowup>

<active>true</active><codePool>local</codePool>

</Brainvire_Abandonedcartsfollowup>
