This is our school.

Abadias Primary SchoolIn our school there are 16 classes, we are about 400 students.

we are in the 3rd form, class A at Abadias School.

We like our school, teachers and the auxiliary staff very much.

There are 19 students in our class, 12 girls and 7 boys. We have

8 and 9 years old.

Our classes begin at 9:00 am and finish at 3:30 pm.

In the classroom we learn many interesting subjects, such as:

Portuguese, Math and Sciences.

We have a classroom and one teacher, Mrs. Carla Rodrigues. Our

teacher is on license of motherhood, so now we have classes with Mrs.

Fernanda Grou.

We also draw, paint, learn music, do crafts and Gym.

World Food Day...

We have done a delicious fruit salad.

On november 11th we celebrate S. Martinho. These are some activities and works we’ve done.

On this day we eat roasted chestnuts. We call it “ magusto”.

We have breaks from 10:30 am to 11:00 am and from 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm. During breaks we play,

chat, play football in the playground.

After the afternoon beak we have extra- curricula activities.

We have ICT, English, Sports, Crafts and Study support.

But those activities aren´t compulsory. Some of us go home at 15.30 p.m.

At 12:30 most of us lunch at school canteen.Others go home to have lunch with their parents.

Our School has a library. It’s a very pleasant place were we can read, request books to read at home, seeing movies or do researches.
