Are you 18 or younger? Drop by the library from Dec 1–21 and pick up a warm cap, scarf or mittens! Local Trinidad Crafters created a big pile of warm woolens and are donating them to the Trinidad community. The tree is downstairs in the Children’s area.

Kiwanis Brings Santa to Library Associated Press
Trinidad—On Friday, Decem-
ber 15, the Tr inidad Kiwanis
will escort Santa Claus to the
Carnegie Library. Santa plans
to meet with various local chil-
dren at 4PM to help plan his
annual Christmas night world
journey. At the meeting, he will
be gathering data to determine
requirements for the size of his
sack and reindeer-power of his
sled. Santa has indicated that he
will be available for photo-ops,
and will possibly hold conver-
sations with adults, if time per-
mits. The Kiwanis will begin
the event at 3:30PM with holi-
day story-readings and general
preparations for Mr. Claus’s
visit.

Born in Niksic, Yugoslavia, Marija graduated with a Fine Arts degree in 1997 from Cetinje-Montenegro. She studied painting in Trebinje, Herzegovina until 2004. From there she went to Thessaloniki, Greece where she studied Iconography and Fresco. Marija has exhibited her paintings in Milan, Paris, London, Belgrade, Rome…and now in Trinidad. Meet Marija on December 9!
