Impact of our work
No . of days of work generated• Average employment days per job card under
MNREGS has increased from 30 – 35 to 40 – 50 days per year across the project area.
• 2388 Baiga (particularly vulnerable tribal) families receiving more than 80 days(which is more than double of National Average Wage) of employment under NREGA with an average increase in annual family income of approximately Rs. 5000 in Kabirdham district of Chhattisgarh.
MGNREGA funds for developing durable assets
• Inclusion of land development work into the list of work under MGNREGA resulted into the development of 88.78 hectares (220.2 acres) of land which is now ready for agriculture.
• Families in Chandrapur district are earning Rs 10,000 per month from MNREGA.
