Who are we?

Where are we?

La Carlota is a small town situated in the province of Córdoba, Andalusia, in the south of Spain.La Carlota has a population of about 12000. It is mainly an agricultural area. The building sector which had developed greatly in the last few years has been paralised at the moment by the recession.

Pupils

• Most of the pupils come from lower-middle class / middle class families.• Due to the geographical dispersion in the area one third of pupils travel to school from surrounding villages by school transport.• There is a very low percentage of immigrant pupils mainly from Romania and Latin American countries.• Extremely low percentage of pupils with special needs.• The rural environment has a great influence on the cultural and social life of pupils.
