Program OverviewThe Lions Young Leaders in Service Awardsare sponsored by local Lions clubs. Clubsmay recognize as many young people as theyfind eligible. Here is an overview of theawards program.

• The Lions club invites local schools,Leo clubs and other youth groups toparticipate and distributes programmaterials.

• The Lions award chairperson coordinateswith school personnel, Leo advisors andadult youth group leaders, who certifyyoung people’s service and submit awardforms to the Lions club.

• The award chairperson requests awardsfrom Lions Clubs International.

• Lions Clubs International issues acongratulatory letter from theInternational President and a certificate foreach recipient.

• The Lions club arranges an awardpresentation for youth recipients.
