At US$600bn, India’s education sector is bigger than that of the US even. Education spend in India is
the 9th highest across the Globe. India’s yearly growth in education spend, at 15% is also one of the
fastest.
The gulf between formal education and the market’s skill requirements is driving demand for
vocational education and skill development services.
A study done by Springboard Research shows that the market for enterprise networking equipment in
India is estimated to grow from $1 billion in 2008 to $1.7 billion by 2012 recording a compounded
annual growth rate (CAGR) of 15 percent during this period. The banks and the government sectors
are the largest market verticals, cornering over 37 percent of the total market size in the year 2008.
The overall networking equipment market is divided into data, voice and network security equipment.
As the market is recording a CAGR of 15% the overall requirement of trained professional to manage
the entire network infrastructure will also spurt up. As per NASSCOM, a premier industry association,
30 million jobs will be generated In India alone by 2020 in IT Industry.

the need for a Vocational Education Mission. Such a Mission is ready to be launched. We
will soon launch a Mission through which we will open 1600 new industrial training institutes
(ITIs) and polytechnics, 10,000 new vocational schools and 50,000 new Skill Development
Centers We will ensure that annually, over 100 lakh students get vocational training - which

He is one of a distinguished creed of first generation
entrepreneurs who has 37 year of broad-based business,
sales, operations and financial management experience.
He was a part of the galvanization revolution in India. His
philosophy of “delivery with commitment” has worked

Mr. Rajesh Goyal
With a 20 year career in sales, vocational training, Rajesh has
extensive experience in running training workshops, specifically
behavioral, marketing workshops and implementing training programs
throughout the organizations. He has successfully built and managed
several business units from startup. He has extensive experience in
setting up operations, managing P&L and establishing core processes
for a business unit.

Mr. Pradeep Chaturvedi, Vice President, Institute of Directors, is an
internationally known Energy and Environment Expert having worked
on projects in over 20 countries under UN Agencies.
He is Graduate in Science and Graduate in Automobile Engineering.
He has been regularly conducting training courses for senior levels,
mainly the Directors, in the areas of Energy Policy, Energy
Technologies, Technologies Transfer, Corporate Governance and
Corporate Social Responsibility.
Mr. Chaturvedi is Honorary Chairman of Advisory Board of IACM and
as a mentor and advisor he ensures proper polices, good corporate
governance and under his advise and mentorship IACM has become
one of the most trusted vocational training company in India.

Prof. Devinder Kumar Banwet
Ph.D., FISTD, FIE
He is Professor & Group Chair, Operations & Supply Chain
Management. He is a graduate mechanical engineer, a Masters in
Industrial Engineering & a Ph.D. from I.I.T. Delhi. He has been former
Head of the DMS, Dalmia Chair Professor, Coordinator of ASRP
(Applied Systems Research Programme) and also Coordinator of the
Entrepreneurship Programme, both Interdisciplinary Research
Programmes of IIT, Delhi.
He is elected as fellow of The Institution of Engineers (India), fellow
of ISTD. Prof. Banwet is currently National President of ISTD. Earlier
he was National Treasurer, Vice President (North Zone) and
Chairman of ISTD Delhi Chapter. He is a member/life member of
quite a few other professional societies like ISTE, ISME, IIIE, GIFT
and Systems Society of India etc.
Prof. Banwet is on various committees on Technical & Management
Education of Government of India, Ministry of HRD, AICTE, DEC
(IGNOU) & NPIU and board member of quite a few engineering &
management institutions.
Mr. Banwet is Honorary Chairman of Academic Board of IACM’s
Centre for Technology Enabled Learning (CTEL).
