HyperSonic Sound is a leading up sound-generation technology that countenances broadcasting sound immediately to meant audience only. GENIUS IN 1996.

• ELWOOD NORRIS FROM AMERICAN TECHNOLOGY CORPORATION (ATC) WAS THE “INVENTOR” OR PIONEER OF HYPERSONIC SOUND IN THE UNITED STATES.

• WHILE INVESTIGATING THE NON-LINEARITY GENERATED DIFFERENCE SIGNAL, HE DISCOVERED THAT WHILE PRODUCING A SIGNAL ABOVE THE RANGE OF HEARING AND INTERFERING IT WITH ANOTHER SIGNAL THAT IS SLIGHTLY GREATER THAN THE FIRST, AN AUDIBLE DIFFERENCE SIGNAL WILL RESULT.

• THE RESULTANT SIGNAL WAS COMPARABLE TO BEATS, WHICH ARE CREATED DURING THE CONSTRUCTIVE AND DESTRUCTIVE INTERFERENCE OF LINEAR WAVES.

HOW IT HAPPENED ?

• NORRIS WAS PUZZLED UNTIL HE REALIZED THAT BY SENDING BOTH SIGNALS THROUGH ONE TRANSDUCER IT WOULD ELIMINATE ALL POSSIBILITIES OF LINEARITY.

• AFTER THIS IT WAS PROVED THAT SOME NON-LINEARITY IN AIR WAS THE ACTUAL CAUSE OF THE AUDIBLE FREQUENCY PRODUCED IN THE EXPERIMENT.

• THESE EXPERIMENTS LEAD TO THE CREATION OF HYPERSONIC SOUND

PRINCIPLE

HYPERSONIC SOUND SYSTEM RELIES ON THE DIFFERENCE IN FREQUENCY DEVELOPED WHEN TWO HIGH-AMPLITUDE ULTRASONIC SIGNALS, 1,000 HZ OR SO APART, GENERATE SOUNDS THAT SEEM TO THE HEARER AS IF THEY HAVE COME OUT OF THIN AIR

• THE SPEAKER SENDS OUT AN ULTRASONIC SIGNAL.

• THIS SIGNAL INTERACTS WITH THE AIR AND BREAKS INTO 3 SURROUNDING SIGNALS.

• ONE OF WHICH IS THE AUDIBLE SIGNAL. THIS SIGNAL GETS “TRAPPED” BY THE OTHER 2 SIGNALS IN A SOUND “CONE.”

• THIS CONE ENABLES THE SOUND TO TRAVEL LONG DISTANCES WITHOUT DISPERSION.

• A REGULAR SPEAKER CREATES SOUND BY CONVERTING AN ELECTRICAL SIGNAL INTO AUDIO VIA A VIBRATING DIAPHRAGM AND SENDS THE AUDIO INTO ALL AREAS THAT ARE IN THE SURROUNDING AREA OF THE GENERAL DIRECTION OF THE SPEAKER CONES

• THE HYPERSONIC SOUND SYSTEM EMITS A NARROW BEAM OUT SO THAT ITS SOUND CAN ONLY BE HEARD BY A PERSON IN THE DIRECT PATH OF THE BEAM OR IN A LOCATION WHERE THEY CAN HEAR THE SOUND REFLECTED FROM A VIRTUAL SURFACE

• THE DIFFERENCE IS THAT THE SOUND FROM A TRADITIONAL SPEAKER SPREADS OUT AND DISPERSES, FALLING OFF QUICKLY WHILE THE HYPERSONIC SOUND IS STRONGER AT GREATER DISTANCES, BECAUSE IT IS MORE DIRECTIONAL, AND DIRECTIONAL SOUND IS ALWAYS STRONGER
