Hudson Taylor 2013 Profile

“The Bears are still very young as their top two returning scorers are both just sophomores in Hudson Taylor and Brody Sullivan. Junior, Kyle Dige is the top returner on defense. Tahoma will have to knock off Curtis and Emerald Ridge-Puyallup to have a chance at the playoffs.“

“Hudson was a starting attackman as a freshman for (Tahoma) this past Spring (‘12). He quickly adapted to the speed and the advanced level of play at the High School level. He was the leading Freshman scorer in (goals + assists) in division 1 for the entire state of Washington. Hudson has a very advanced lacrosse IQ for his age and I only anticipate him to expand his knowledge and feel for the game over the next 3 years on the Varsity. He is a very smart player that has a knack of finding the back of the net. The best word to describe Hudson as a player is crafty. He continuously finds a way to make plays and almost does it in an effortless manner. Hudson has the size, speed, skill, and lacrosse IQ to not only be a very successful high school player, but a successful collegiate athlete as well if he continues to develop and hone his skills. ” (Coach B. Johnson, Tahoma Lacrosse Club)
Adrenaline “Primetime Recommendation”
College Recruiting Prospects Hudson Taylor, I saw you play at the Adrenaline Shootout and I'd be very interested in talking to you about coming to play atPortland State. We are an MCLA Division 1 team that plays in the South Division of the PNCLL with Oregon, Oregon State and Boise State. … I am a new head coach here and the first to make a serious effort at recruiting prospective players and building a community of young men who will have success on the field together and build relationships that I hope they will take with them through the rest of their lives. I was impressed by your style of play and would love to chat with you about PSU. Dave Sanford, Head Lacrosse Coach Portland State University (Jul 22, 2012)
Hudson & Mr. Taylor, Good Morning. First, it was excellent meeting both of you (at Adenaline Shootout). Thank you for reaching out to us so we had the opportunity to meet you. We will stay in touch over the next few months and we can see if Sonoma State is the right fit for you. I have included Coach Johnson on this email as he will be an intricate part of this process. Thank you guys. Talk to you soon. -Coach Ojeda, Assistant Coach, Sonoma State (Jul 22, 2012)
