Halbmond stands for highly individual interior design. For many
years, we have designed and produced carpets meeting our
customers‘ personal wishes - using selected materials, state-of-the-
art printing techniques and considerable professional know-how.
Xtra is a new design collection giving your visions a completely new
foundation.
Even very large contract and work areas can be individually
designed, thanks to immense variety of grades and designs. Be it
for offices, medical surgeries, retail outlets, trade fair and exhibition
halls or event locations – each carpet can be precisely adapted to
the aesthetic and functional requirements of the premises.
Overall design concepts can be realized quickly and easily with Xtra.

The design collages in this brochure provide a first impression of
the many possibilities that can be realized with Xtra. On request,
we will immediately send you a pdf file with detailed design in-
formation to help you picture selected patterns more effectively
in your own selected area.
You will then receive your chosen design as a carpet sample
from our laboratory. The sample measures 80 x 80 cm and will
show colour, design and quality – albeit without backing. It goes
without saying that design and colour can always be individually
modified. Contact our consultants in this context.
The delivery period is approx. four weeks from placement of the
order, with a minimum production quantity of 100 m².

Reconciling economic and ecological responsibility has always been part of
the corporate philosophy of Halbmond. For us, using natural resources as
efficiently as possible in production is just as important as sustainability. Xtra
acoustic backings, for example, are made entirely from recycled felt materials.
What‘s more, all carpets are naturally free from pollutants, suitable for allergy-
sufferers and particularly durable. So that this continues to apply in day-to-day

concerned, a coating with integrated acoustic backing, for example, can
reduce reverberation times and increase speech intelligibility by up to 80%.
The sound of foot-falls can additionally be reduced by up to 31 dB.
Xtra also has a thoroughly positive effect on the spine and joints. The acoustic
backing, for example, additionally cushions the impacts and compressive forces
acting on the body with every movement. This special backing with heavy felt is
particularly suitable for people who spend a great deal of time walking or stan-
ding while at work. It makes Xtra the ideal carpet for banks, open-plan offices,
shops and restaurants, as well as others. Let us know your requirements so

almost every working world can be effectively upgraded – visually
and functionally – with a carpet from the Xtra Design Collection. You
can choose between Cut or Loop. Both surface textures are made
from high-grade polyamide materials which are extremely robust.
Cut pile grades come in five different versions from velvet cut pile to
twist pile. The three Loop versions range from Berber-style loop to
luster-effect loop pile. Which of these eight grades is best for you de-
pends purely and simply on the style and function of your particular
property – areas of use.
24 colourS
The attractive Xtra designs are produced using high-tech printing
techniques which are perfectly adapted to the surface of the carpet
concerned. The combination of 24 colours and 53 designs ensu-
res that your personal freedom of design is almost unlimited. On
request, we will also produce to your own design ideas. On the
basis of your pattern and colour specifications, we can develop
your personal design. a minimum production quantity of 100 m²
applies here too.
6 backinGS
Backings meeting all the demands of modern working worlds
make the Xtra Design Collection even more versatile. Acoustic
backings produce a particularly soundproofing effect and
ensure maximum ergonomic comfort when walked on. Easy-Lift
backings are self-laying and are of exactly the same thickness as
a textile backing. advantage: carpet modules and tiles with
easylift backing can easily be combined with wall-to-wall
carpet.

It goes without saying each carpet is available in the full range of
possible production and delivery forms: from classic wall-to-wall
through to tiles and module systems to loose-laying rugs adapted
to the area in question. simply send us your building drawings and
