How to make Lanna Lantern Step 1 Decide on a shape for your lantern. Unless you are exceptionally skilled at making wire forms,

you’ll need a guide. If you want a round or cylinder lantern, find a ball or bowl of an appropriate size.

Step 2 Make the bases. Using the hard paper for the bottom, shape a base. Leave the outside base

about 1 cm. for gluing with another hard paper.

Step 3 Repeat at the top. Cut the hard paper about 3 cm. width and 15 cm. length then bend it to

make a circle for the top of the lantern. There should be a piece of wire crossing directly from one side

of the base to the other. You will hang your light here.

Step 4 Make the candle base by using the thin aluminum and bend it to fit the candle. Use the wire to

tie the candle base to the lantern base.

Step 5 Glue the top and the bottom of the lantern by using a colorful paper.

Step 6 Cut colorful papers by using lanna patterns then decorated them as your imagination.
