People Say• I have been doing well on my networking and following
some of your guidance and check list points earlier in the year but have to say recently workload has taken over! One of the big challenges is location (glad to see it on your list) as the Bay area is where I want to be but there are just not that many companies and opportunities around here. I get calls for jobs on the East Coast or Mid-West, not so much for the Bay. In addition it appears that the Bay is a very small ecosystem where jobs are found primarily through connections. That makes your guidance and check list all the more important!

Practical, Right Now Tip• Use your phone, voice or text, or
3X5s in your pocket, to write down what you do all day. Do it for a week and harvest your skills, expertise and keywords.
