Mission:
We deliver quality, affordable transit services that link people, jobs, and communities.
Proposal:
Extend the Red Line
to 130th street.
Intermediate stops at 103th, 107th, 111th, 116th, 130th
5 ½ mile extension
Is it feasible based upon how far people are willing to walk to get to an el station?
Our Survey:
Length of
Commute
Distance walk to
El Station
Willingness to
transfer
Demographic
Information
The Current Situation:
Grocery Stores
Banks
Access to
downtown
High traffic levels
at 95th station
Population is highly
transit dependent,
minority and low-
income
Lack of access to
stations via Park
and Ride
