• Project justification: Hakki Isik, the project sponsor, was not happy with his living room. He would like to replace the carpet in the living room with hardwood floor. He believes replacing the carpet and painting the walls will make the living room look better.

• Project scope: To do a makeover of the living room at Hakki’s house.

• Cost estimate: $1,500• Time goal: Feb 15 to May 6, 2005
