What is HIFUHIFU is a new method of skin rejuvenation that usesultrasound.Itiscapableoftreatingdeeperlayersofskinandisthuscapableofdealingwiththerootcausesofagerelatedstructural changes of the skin. The ultrasound bypassestheupper layersof theskinwithoutaffectingthemand it isfocusedtoapointlocatedindermiswhereitcauseslocalizedheating of the tissue. The heating induced shortening ofcollagen fibbers causes immediate lifting of the skin andconsequentlyreductioninwrinkles.Theoptimaltemperatureforcollagenregeneration inducesneocollagenesisateverytreatedpointintheskin.Duringtheperiodofseveralmonthsafterthetreatmenttheappearanceoftheskincontinuestoimproveandremodelingoftheskinstructureliftstheskinandmakesitmoreyouthful,tightenedandtoned.
