Greetings everyone...
Thank you for helping us
to kick off the inaugural
issue of our class newsletter.
We hope the first issue of

mittee’s thoughts for staying
connected.
The intent is to provide an
annual or semi-annual pub-
lication of Class happenings,
formal and informal gath-
erings amongst classmates,
significant news of class-
mates and their families and
good old potpourri!
There’s an old axiom that
sometimes “...no news is
good news...!” However,
maybe we can go against
the grain a little in hopes
that you may share some of
the “good times” with your
fellow HHS classmates. We’d
love to hear from you!
The computer age gives us
opportunities to easily com-
municate. Dating back to
1962, the electronic era has
grown in leaps and bounds.
And now even our class can
conveniently converse and
connect.
NEWS AND VIEWS will be published in digital format
and distributed via the inter-
net. We’ll continue to give

“The Game”, the 83rd edition of the
Harrison-Rye rivaly became another classic;
to be remembered for years as an incredible
defensive battle. The Huskies held the
highscoring Garnets scoreless through the first
three quarters, but ultimately were defeated
in the final minutes by a score of 8-2 . Husky
senior Jeremy Altamuro was awarded the
annual Christopher Mello Award, given to a
member from each team, in honor of former
Rye High School student-athlete and Garnet
Football captain Chris Mello who was lost in
the “9/11” attack.
Although the Huskies did not qualify for the
Sectional playoffs, they never-the-less closed
out the 2013 season with non-playoff victories
over Byram Hills and Nyack.
