Helping the Parish Council We have suggested ideas for the Parish Council to help our community and ideas to improve the playground and road safety. Our Chairperson, Miriam wrote an article for the Parish magazine about all the things we are doing at School.

Visit to Wellingborough Borough Council Offices.

In May, we visited the Mayor and Mayoress of

Wellingborough at the Council offices. When we were

there, we learnt about the Mace of Wellingborough and its

history. Mrs Reeve then chose 3 of us to dress up as the

Mayor, Mayoress and the Mace bearer.

Together we went down the Mayor’s parlour and had a

biscuit and some juice and talked about what the Mayor

Great Plastic Pick Up We designed posters to tell people to pick up any plastic or litter that they see to clean-up Britain

before the Royal wedding.

KS2 Production

Our KS2 production this year is Bugsy

Malone, which we are going to do in

July. We have already started to

Crazy Hair Day We hosted a school day where we all had to have unusual hairstyles, by colouring our hair with hair

chalk or putting it in school elaborate hairstyles. We did this for CLIC Sargent, a charity helping children with

cancer.
