BIBLE CAMPS IN JUNE!
The kids will be happy to hear there are two opportunities for
Summer Bible Camp this year at Camp Leatherwood:
White Bluff sponsors the Amazing Race Bible Camp at Camp
Leatherwood May 31 through June 5. Applications can be
obtained in the church lobbies or you may print one from our
church website – www.whitebluff church.org - and complete
updated 2015 medical form with Poppa Todd.
Chapel Hill Church sponsors Mid Summer Bible Camp at Camp
Leatherwood June 21 through 26. Applications available in the
church lobbies.
Thank you to all of the adults willing to work at camp and teaching
the love of Jesus! Let’s join in prayers for everyone to have a safe,
joy-filled time together at camp this year.
I believe in the sun, even when it is not shining. I believe in love, even when feeling it not. I believe in God, even when He is silent.
(written on the wall in a war prison)
Memorial Day
He can’t come home, he’s gone on home,
he fell on foreign sod; he heard the call,
he gave his all for country, home & God.
He can’t come home, he’s gone on home,
where war clouds never rise, his day is
done, new life begun in lovely paradise.
He can’t come home, he’s gone on home,
where foxholes are no more. No anguish
now, no fevered brow, he’s safe forever-
more.
He can’t come home, he’s gone on home,
dear lad, so young, so fair. God’s will is
best, in Him we rest until we met up there.

A Graduate’s Prayer By Helen Steiner Rice
Father, I have knowledge, so will you show me
now how to use it wisely, and find the way
somehow to make the world I live in a little better
place, and make life with its problems
a bit easier to face?
Grant me faith and courage, and put purpose in my
days, and show me how to serve Thee in the most effective ways. So all my education, my
knowledge and my skill, may find their true
fulfillment as I learn to do Thy will. And may I ever be aware in everything I do,
that knowledge comes from learning
and wisdom comes from You.
