Installation Steps1. Clear the store cache under var/cache and all cookies for your store domain.

2. Disable compilation for Magento 1.4+. Log into Magento Admin Panel and go to System → Tools → Compilation and disable the compilation.

Be sure that the Compilation Сode is disabled (System->Tools --

>Compilation)

Installation Steps3. Disable JS & CSS merging

Navigate to System->Configuration->Developer Tab and disable "Merge

css / js". We suggest that you enable error reporting.

Installation Steps4. Upload file manually

As this extension use admin theme, So there is no need to interact with the frontend theme. So simply Select all folders of extension and upload all those folders at your Store root. Make sure to clear cache under the varfolder after upload all the files.

Then navigate to System->Cache Storage Management and and clear

Cache.

Do select and Refresh it by pressing submit button

6. Log out then log back in to your admin panel.

ConfigurationConfigure Deal SettingGo to System > Configurations > Catalog > Deal section.

ConfigurationDebug Mode : Enable to create log of deals subscriptions,deal purchases etc.

Send As Gift : Set enable to show “Send this as gift” button on product pages.

Main Category : Deal landing page. Any deal created should be assigned a category under subcategory of selected main category. Customer will be able to subscribe one or more subcategory.

#Universal Deals Sidebar: No of items to display in universal deals sidebar. Universal deal will be displayed on product list page & details pages

ConfigurationConfigure productlocator : Go to System > Configuration > Productlocator settings.

Configuration•Enable Productlocator : Use to enable /disable product location map.

•Zoom Rate : Zoom rate of map on product page.

•Api Key : Insert your google api key for map. Get your Google map api key from here. https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/tutorial#api_key

•Please select your side : Left/Right where map to be displayed on product detail page.

ConfigurationSetup deals information.To add city Goto Catalog > Deals > Manage Cities. Add new city with information as below.

Setup Deals: Step to setup deals.Setup deals information

Setup DealsCreate or edit any products. Click on Deal tab .

Short Name : Name of dealVoucher Title : Title of voucher if we send our customer a voucher after deal purchase.Original Price: Price of product.Email : Email associated with deal inquiry information.Fine prints : Brief description of deals.Highlights : Main features of deals.Voucher Valid Date : Voucher expiry voucher can be redeemed up to this date.Minimum Order to active the deal : Set no of orders required to active the deal. Keep blank if does not have any limit.Maximum Voucher per customer : maximum number of voucher can be purchased by a customer.Inquiry Info : Deal contact related info like email, Website, Phone etc.Is Product Deal : This must be set to display expiration counter on detail page.Start Date & End Date : Deal start & end date.

Setup Map & Location Information

Select deal country from list . List of region will appear if available. Select from list of region or enter region name.city name allow your customer to search deal in city.

Map location is used to display exact location of deal. Type your location in textbox before Enter your location to get marker to approximate location. Thereafter select exact location on map by marker. Click “Save Location” button on bottom to get store map location of product.

User can get distance and direction of the Deal by simply entering their location.

• Customer will enter his/her email address & choose city. If Favorite category is selected during subscription . All deal listed under those category will be send to customer as newsletter feed.

Uninstall

To disable Groupon Deals

Go to magento root directory /app/etc/modules/ and edit the file Brainvire_Locator.xml and Brainvire_Deal.xml

Then replace <active>true</active> with <active>false</active> in the following files:
