We had a busy month, hosting the Southeast Section Picnic and Ice Cream Ride. Thanks to everyone that helped to make it a success. You did a fantastic job!!!! We also had Buckeye Rally, B3 was pretty well represented, winning day-time campsite award. Special thanks to Sue & Wendell Gundy for all their work and organization. Thanks to all that came out to support our chapter. Esther and I want you to know how much we appreciate all of you. You are keeping all the B3 activities going while we are concentrating on my health. I am praying that I will be returning to all my other duties soon. There are a lot of rides and activities ahead, keep racking up the safe miles and having fun putting many miles on those beautiful rides. Thanks Bill & Esther Ford

Ride to Marietta

The Boat House BBQ 218 Virginia St

Seven B-3 members departed Frisch’s at 9:00 AM, June 22. We traveled down US 33 then traveled east on Route 50/Route 7. It was a perfect day for a ride and we thoroughly enjoyed the ride. After a brief stop at the Rest Area on Route 7 we continued on to Marietta. At approximately 11:30 AM we arrived at the Boat House. We sat out on the patio area next to the Muskingum River which was running high. The meal we enjoyed at the Boat House BBQ Restaurant was very good, but the company was even better. Wes Arnott departed for home after our meal, so now there were only six. Once we were finished eating we mounted the bikes and back tracked to North Route 7 and proceeded to the Ohio River Museum. Gary got me in for free as he is a member of the Ohio Historical Society. The others had to pay. We wandered through the three museum buildings then we were given a tour of the W.P. Snyder Tow Paddle Wheeler that used to work the rivers in Pennsylvania and Ohio. The tour was extremely interesting. After the visit we decided to head home and Wayne led us up Route 676 – hills, curves, sharp turns which continued once we got onto part of Route 555. We finally got to Route 37 and headed towards Lancaster then I led to Gypsy Joe’s for some welcome refreshment – ICE CREAM! From there we headed home. It was a great day of riding with a total of 248 miles in great weather. Margaret Moore Chapter B3 ACD

DO YOU PARTICIAPTE??????

It has been said that 90% of life is based on just showing up!!!! Good things can only happen if "YOU" are there!!!! Ask yourself, do you make excuses for not attending a Gathering or a convention (Rally) or can you hardly wait to get there??? Every Gathering presents an opportunity to ride and see friends!!! Every Convention presents opportunities to ride new roads and see old friends as well as meeting new ones. New and exciting seminars and classes are being developed and offered every year!!! Vendors who have traveled many miles offer their products and services at competitive prices. What else can you do at a convention??? So far we have seen bingo, pine car races, dances, off bike games, on bike games, drill teams, Couple of the Year selections, talent shows, bike shows,, light shows, and CPR/FIRST AID.....Whew, and this is only a partial list. As you can see, there "IS" something for everyone!!!! So if "YOU" have "BEEN THERE AND HAVE DONE THAT", THINK AGAIN!!!!!! Remember, good things can only happen if "YOU" are there!!!!! PLEASE REMEMBER THE FOLLOWING... Sandy Durbin will be having surgery on Monday.... Bill Ford: He is having chemo treatments every day and will be admitted to the hospital on Monday....Hopefully he will get out on Thursday.... Please keep these and all our Members in your thoughts and prayers........... Should there be anyone I have missed, Please let me know.... We want to thank Mike and Frances for the GREAT party last Sunday in honor of Patrick's graduation....CONGRATULATIONS Patrick...........
