GOD IS LOVE: 1 John 4:8

‘Jesus is long suffering and patient’ (he never gives up; never gets tired of waiting for you.)

‘Jesus is kind’ (and cares more for you than for himself.)

‘Jesus is never envious’ (nor is he jealous never desiring what he does not have)

‘Jesus is not puffed up’ (arrogant or proud having a high opinion of himself, rather he humbled himself and took upon himself the form of a servant...)

‘Jesus is not boastful’ (nor does he brag about himself or sing his own praises.)

‘Jesus seeks not his own’ (He takes no thought for himself for he is not selfish, for him it’s never a question of ‘me first’)

Jesus Christ is LOVE:

‘Jesus never behaves himself in an unseemly nor rude manner’ (nor does he behave indecently forcing himself on others demanding his own way, because his ways are always fair.)

‘Jesus is not easily provoked to anger’ (he is not quick tempered nor does he fly off the handle easily.)

‘Jesus does nothing evil’ (nor does he keep a record of wrong doings, a score of the sins of others)

Jesus Christ is LOVE:

‘Jesus does not rejoice in iniquity’ (unrighteousness injustice or wrongdoing, nor does he rejoice when others grovel.)

‘Jesus rejoices in the truth’ (indeed his joy is in what is true)

‘Jesus is not happy when injustice is done’ (but he is always happy with the truth.)

Jesus Christ is LOVE:

‘Jesus bears all things’ (he is always supportive, and he never gives up on you, never stops being patient and silently cover all things.)

‘Jesus believes all things’ (and has faith in all things)

‘Jesus hopes all things’ (always looking for the best,)

‘Jesus endures all things’ (never giving up, going on to the end he endures through all circumstances with perseverance and suffering)

)

Jesus Christ is LOVE:

‘Jesus never fails; he will never come to an end. Prophecies will fail, speaking in unknown tongues will cease and the gift of knowledge shall vanish away’ but ‘Jesus will never fail’ 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7

To those who would accuse Jesus of doing evil, of causing them harm, allow me to ask; Would love kill an unborn child or take the life of a teenage son or daughter?Would Jesus destroy the very life he created? Would he send poverty, would he abuse or hurt the very child he formed in its mother's womb?

Would love crush the broken hearted?Would Jesus oppress his own or leave and forsake his own child?

No! Jesus died for the unlovable and the ungodly. He willingly 'laid down his life for you' 1 John 3:16 (KJVR) and for all those who would reject him.

Have you not heard that, 'while you were still sinners Christ died for you?' Romans 5:8

Have you not read that, 'he washed you from your sins in his own blood' Revelations 1:5. (KJVR)

'Jesus was despised and rejected of men a man of sorrows acquainted with grief, he carried your grief's and your sorrows,

'Christ was wounded for your transgressions, he was bruised for your iniquities, the chastisement of your peace was upon him and by his stripes you are healed' Isaiah 53:3-5

He took your infirmities and carried your sicknesses' Matthew 8:17 and again he declares, by his stripes you were healed; 1 Peter 2:24, because that's what real love does.

Jesus 'died for you when you were 'without strength,' 'while you were still an ungodly sinner, he died for you' Romans 5:6-8(KJVR)

He loved his own which were in the world, indeed he loved them to the end' John 13:1

He left you 'peace so that you need not be troubled' John 14:27. and Joy that's unspeakable and full of glory. 1 Peter 1:8

Jesus, 'left you another comforter', the Holy Ghost who will teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever he said unto you' John 14:26

He 'purchased eternal life to you' 1 John 5:11 and to all who would simply, believe.

Jesus healed all that came to him, Matthew 12:15 indeed he healed every sickness and every disease among the people Matthew 9:35

He fed the multitudes, Matthew 15:32-38 and cleansed the leper. Matthew 8:1-3

He raised the widows' dead son and gave sight to the blind, hearing to the deaf and a voice to the dumb. Luke 7:12-15

Jesus preached good news to the poor, he delivered the captives and gave recovery of sight to the blind and brought liberty to those who were bruised (downtrodden and abused) Luke 4:18

Jesus took upon him the sins of the whole world, 1 John 2:2 (KJVR) He was beaten until his appearance was like no other man, Isaiah 54:14

He was crowned with thorns, spat upon, mocked and laughed at. Matthew27: 29-31

‘They made his back like a ploughed field they laid long their furrows' Psalm 129:3

He was nailed to a cross and even when in agony, even while forsaken (Matthew 27:46)

And he forgave the dying repentant thief and, he forgave you and I. (Luke 23:42-43)

All because that’s what love would do...

Forever!!

Jesus came to seek and to save that which was lost, Luke 19:10

He adopted you; indeed he gave you the Spirit of adoption whereby you can call God your Abba, your daddy, your Father and your God. Romans 8:15

Forever!!

Makes you think doesn’t it?
