November3,1950,anairplanefromtheAirIndiafleet,the"MalabarPrincess,"coveringtheBombay-LondonroutebeginsitsdescenttoGeneva.Therewere48passengersaboard.At10:43a.m.,thecontroltowersreceivethereport,"IamverDcalwithVoiron,at4700metersalDtude."Thennothing.Theplaneneverlanded.

January24,1966:aBoeing707oftheAirIndiafleetconDnuesonascheduledflightbetweenBombayandNewYorkbywayofGeneva.Thereare117passengersaboard,including46sailors.TheBoeing707exitstheMilanradarreadingtobetakeninchargebyGeneva.Theplaneisat6200meterswhenitdemandsauthorizaDontochangealDtude.At8:00a.m.,allcontactislost.

Sixteenyearsagerthe"MalabarPrincess,"the"Kanchenjunga,"aplanefromthesamefleetofAirIndia,disappearsinalmosttheexactspot.
