BOARD MEETING: Thursday, October 17, 1 p.m.
A Message from Your Senior Club President,
Pauline Aguero:
This time of year, I am reminded of the quote by L. M.
Montgomery, “I’m so glad I live in a world where there are
Octobers.” The summer heat is behind us, kids are back in
school and we are busy planning for the Holidays. The
Halloween Bash is on Thursday, October 31st from 3-6 pm and
it is our last social for the 2019 year. Come in costume for a fun
time!
Thank you to all who participated in the September 11th Salt &
Pepper Restaurant dine-in fundraiser. It was a success. Also, the
August 23rd Drama Club presentation “Seniors Acting Up” was
very enjoyable.
We have a lot of Senior Programs coming up this October. The

is a holiday Christmas show on Wednesday December 4th.
The Annual Membership Drive is coming up in November. Be
sure to watch for your envelope in the November Newsletter to
send in your 2020 membership dues if you haven’t already done
so. Don’t forget the Annual Membership Meeting and Holiday
Party is on Friday, December 6th. We are hard at work planning
this event for the members.
