High tuition fees & living expenses
Problem
Insufficient participants for campus events
Food waste by campus events
The story of Zac
Zac is a U-M CS student. He loves partying and he spends a lot of his allowance on partying. At the end of each month, he is in a position where he runs out of money.During those days, Zac would attend campus events that provide free food so that he could save money on food. However, info about these events are not easy accessible. Sometimes, Zac is lucky and he could see flyers about these events on one of the notice boards in BBB. Often times, he cannot find any info about these events. He often wonders whether there is an app would gather information about events that would provide free food on campus.

The story of Catherine
Catherine is active in student organizations. She has organized a lot of events such as tech-talks, company info sessions, etc. She notices that events that provide free food would attract more participants that those that do not. In order to attract more participants, she would include "free food provided" in the flyers or posters of her events. However, people are still not aware of her events and she would end up preparing more than enough food for her events. Catherine hates food waste and has been looking for a platform to promote her events.
Thinks Often prepares more than enough food for events
Sees Need a more centralized platform to promote events
Feels Frustrated for having too much leftover after events
Does Bring the food back home or throw it away
