It is lovely to report that we have
seen all our pupils in school uniform all
week again! This is a huge positive, so thank you for
ensuring that all your children are in their school colours.
Please ensure that your child continues to wear their
school colours.! Thank you also for your feedback about how the school is
doing. We are currently analysing the questionnaires and
will let you know how we are changing and improving
those things you have asked for. !
We have now placed the order for book bags and so they
should be with you shortly.!
It is also good to see some homework from children.
Please ensure that your child undertakes at least one
activity each week. If you need new or extra copies of our
homework sheets, you can call into school or look on the
school website. Eastern's big challenge is also on the
website, if you should need a new copy.
A special mention this week to Igor. He has completed Eastern's big challenge and has
made such a lovely book with all his adventures and activities. It has been a really lovely reflection of how children really can achieve amazing things! There's a
picture on the back of the newsletter, maybe it will inspire others to have a go!
Attendance Our current attendance figures are... Y1 95.4% Y2 94%
Y3 96.6% Y4 96% Y5 97% (the highest this week!) Y6 91.8%
Overall 95.2% We have 71 unauthorised absences so please let us know when your child is unwell! It is good to report that our attendance is over 95% so far this year. Please work with us to keep it on target in your school!
!
Please try and do one piece of homework each week!
Well done to Year 3! Nearly all the children
have brought their reading books back to
school!
