D-1 pre-planning with regard to available airspace are done according to the FUA concept. Closure of TSAs are managed via CIAM. The system generates a “REJ” to flightplans penetrating the TSA on a FRA flightpath or via a closed CDR. “Associated areas” are published around the TSAs generating a buffer of ~3,5 NM as well as “Anchor points” which makes it possible to flightplan FRA around TSAs.Day of Operation:In activated TSAs OAT operations have priority and GAT cannot penetrate.
AMC manageable:
UUPs can be generated via CIAM in case of cancellation of booking for the afternoon sorties by AMC.

Day of Operation:TRAs can be activated by the Fighter Allocator with 15 minutes pre-notification. When TRAs are activated GAT can be coordinated through by restricting OAT operations in levels or areas.

R-/D-areas are published H24 and activated at Level 3.”When a clearence has been obtained for a flight along a route penetrating a restricted area within controlled airspace, special permission to cross this area is not required.” ENR 1.3-6

AMC manageable:
D-1 pre-planning with regard to available airspace are done according to the FUA concept. Closure of CDR2s are managed via CIAM. The system generates a “REJ” to flightplans via a closed CDR. No major traffic flows are on CDR2s. Traffic on a FRA flight-path will be handled tactically with a maximum re-route of 20 NM.
Sweden together with Finland are conducting dry-runs with the aim of establishing procedures for activation of EU CBA 10 Lapland and EU CBA 11 Bothnia. These CBAs/TRAs will be managed by AMC Finland as lead AMC.
AMC is informed about planned activity in TRAs but it does not affect availability to CDR2.
UUPs can be generated via CIAM in case of cancellation of booking for the afternoon sorties by AMC.

Day of Operation:30 min prior to activation of a PCA/TRA ATCC is informed about the request. This information is put into the ATC system and made available to the controllers. This 30 min pre-notification enables ATC to “clean up the airspace”.
Priority Rules:In an activated PCA/TRA Mil has priority except for traffic on available ATS-routes/CDRs that penetrates the area (in FRA environment along an available ATS-route).These flights are up to coordination how to fly through the area. Agreed maximum of 20 NM in total – will not exceed what is available via ATS route/CDR.

The entire Swedish FIR/UIR is covered with PCA/TRA with the exception Stockholm, Göteborg and Malmö TMAThese areas are normally available all levels with two limitations:
• Strategic agreement with
Air force normally avoids certain areas during peak hours
• ATS Routes betweenSthlm – Gbg - Malmö TMA
and Sthlm – Oslo TMA

The sector capacity is rarely affected to the extent that restrictions needs to be implemented due to OAT activity in DK/SE FAB.
•Close co-operation between ATC and Fighter Control•Strategic agreements•No major traffic flows on CDR2s•TSAs are strategically placed to reduce impact on GAT traffic flows
