and save the XML file on to your desktop.

Income Tax Website

Once you have the XML, log on to income tax website and upload the

XML. If you do not have an account, create an account

first.

Important Steps to follow

Once you have generated XML from our site, please make sure that you upload the same on income tax website.

Please follow the steps mentioned below:1: Save the XML file generated on your desktop and then click on “UPLOAD

XML” button just beside “Generate XML” button. You will be redirected to Income Tax website.

2: Register yourself with your PAN No. & DOB.

3: Click on “Submit Return” button, attach the XML file saved on your desktop & hit upload. Your electronic return is successfully filed.

4: Now on the same website Go to My Account > My Return Section. Take the printout of your ITR V form and then send it to the Income Tax office in 30 days through ordinary post at the below mentioned address:

Note: Any ITR V form sent by the means of Speed post, Registered Post or courier will not be entertained.
