Launched in 1942, the Smeraldo Theatre was the most spacious theatre in Milan. Own by Longoni’s family, it has seen – on its stage, the debut of extremely important artists such as Mina and Celentano, becoming, in the ‘80s - the emblem of the Vaudeville Show.As a tribute to its history, its beauty and its culture, Eataly has given life again to the Smeraldo theatre, maintaining part of its original stage.

The stage, with its semi-circular shape, overlooks the inside of the grocery market, offering a strategic position and a uniquevisibility. The gourmet restaurant, owned by the starred chef Viviana Varese and Sandra Ciciriello, can host about90seats and150standingpeoplein a stylish design-like environment, totally personalized by the presence of plants and handcrafted objects that recall the sea and the Southern atmosphere.
