loud and proud slogan of 'the fresh fishpeople.'

Ashley Lunn and his wife Brooke are thenew proprietors, and are coming onboard as a family business with a view ofbeing part of the community.
“We have a young family and we see thenorthern region as a growing familycommunity, especially with Holdens andthe RAAF in the area,” Ashley said.
“Some of the features of the businessincludes our crumbed products, and wealso fillet on the premises. Everything wesell is sourced fresh.”
Originally a butcher, Ashley starteddelving into fish products and it soonbecame a passion. He has been workingin the wholesale fishing market foralmost four years.
Samsons Seafoods has been in thenorthern area for the past 25 years, andhas established a loyal customer base inthe community, made up of people wholove seafood, and keep coming back.
“I'm excited about this industry andworking with the community here,because of the many possibilities,”Ashley said.
“The business offers variety, just with thecustomers we deal with, as our businessis about them.
“For us, trust is big, andwe are confident of ourability to satisfy. I knowseafood, and I know it issomething most peoplealso love.”

Kristin Wohlers and Kate Jenkins havebeen working on an outdoor chaiselong togo into the Barossa Bushgardens fromAugust 3-26.
The exhibition's motto is “at Home in theBush” and highlights the unique
conserving environment created in thebushgardens.
Kristin and Kate's sofa, entitled “Don't gettoo comfortable”, embraces the visitorwith rare and some endangered speciesof animals and plants.
The opening is on August 5, at 4pm, in theBarossa Bushgardens off Research Road,Nuriootpa.

Seppeltsfield is not only famous for itswines, there is no mistaking that
food plays an important part in thewhole experience.
Earlier this year, resident chef OwenAndrews resurrected a 'village' traditionof on-site baking, which includedgourmet Barossa beef pies, among arange of homemade fares for the winerycellar door café, as well as for theSeppeltsfield function menus.
Other delicious items in the café include'soup of the day', served with crustycroûtons; artisans platters, featuringlocal meats, cheeses, olives and pickles;
or perhaps some homemade sconeswith local jam or honey and Jerseycream.
There are also plenty of hot or coldbeverages – anyone for coffee or amilkshake?
There is a huge range of local produce,which can be matched to wine, includingchocolates – this goes with that!
Why not take a wine tour (11.30am and3.30pm, seven days a week), and takethe time to combine it with an appetisinglunch?
INDULGENCE
While fortified wines aresynonymous with Seppeltsfield,
two years ago an old tradition wasrevived when the gravity feed cellar wasrecommissioned for the 2010 vintage.
The A grade premium table red wineshave helped establish further variety,which saw Seppeltsfield win the HugoGramp Memorial Trophy for the 2011 ElmWalk Eden Valley Riesling and the RiedelTrophy for an innovative 2010 GrenacheShiraz Touriga blend.
Earlier this year, senior wine maker FionaDonald took out the 'Barons of Barossa'winemaker of the year.
Seppeltsfield remains home to a longand illustrious fortified winemakingtradition, dating back to 1851.
A feature is its centenary Para VintageTawny tastings, where everyone over theage of 18 can experience a 'drop' fromtheir year of birth.
They even have an on-site cooper
Andrew Young, and a unique 'treasure'can be purchased and taken home – asmall oak wine barrel, which can helpwith aging that favorite port.
DRINK TO GOOD HEALTH
While the food and wine atSeppeltsfield will satisfy the taste
buds, there are also plenty of stunningvisuals to take one's breath away,including in the lower section of the tastingarea, where local artists are often featured.
Through its ArtSpace @ Seppeltsfielddisplay area, South Australian Living Artists(SALA) events have been a regular feature.
Starting on August 3, Seppeltsfield willagain play a part in the SALA festival, asthe first stop in the “degustation BarossaArt and Wine Trail”, until August 26.
Open from 10.30am to 5pm seven days aweek, Seppeltsfield will partner with theJamFactory to present an excitingexhibition of glass created by a selectgroup of artists.
And now for something completelydifferent. For those who can rememberhot-air ballooning at Seppeltsfield in the1980s, there is a possibility they will returnin 2014 – but keep it secret for now!
