• FM need to get involved with:

• Deal Makers- Opex- R&M schedule (lessor v lessee)- Find what is being agreed eg tenant

spec (are there any unusual requests)

• Project Delivery- Base build spec- Maintenance spec- PM

- Design stage - Consultants , Architects, Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, Fire

• -Project Delivery cont

- Build stage - Head contractor- Check the sub contractor list - Attend PCG mtgs, beginning , when

req’d, 1- 2 mths before PC- PC – Handover- Introduce maint service provider - Defects/warranty period- BIM, Contract docs, As-builts- Engineers seismic report/certification

• Asset Management- Asset Management Planning (AMP)- Long Term Financial Planning- Capex/Opex budgets

• Maintenance Service Provider- Involve them at key points

- Sub contractors list- PC, Handover – trades intro- Get call centre set up with contact info- As-builts – online or CD- GIS

• Sustainability- Company Policy/Mandate- Electricity, Water, Waste- Have input

• Greenstar/NABERS
