• Food insecurity exists in 17.4 million households in America.

• 925 million people on Earth are undernourished (13.6% of 6.8 billion people)

(World Hunger Education Service, 2010)

Globally, 1 in 7 people go to bed hungry each day

In the US, 1 out of every 8 children under the age of 12 goes to bed hungry every night
