FIRST YEAR SEMINAR 2018
Dear Humanities First Year student and Class of 2021Welcome to the University of Johannesburg!
The First Year Seminar (FYS) is compulsory for all students and will give you an introduction to your degree and to the subjects you are registered for. Please attend
the programme at Auckland Park Kingsway Campus (APK).
What does it mean to be part of the Class of 2021? If you register in 2018 and complete all your modules in time, you will finish your third year in 2020
(excluding four-year programmes). This means you will graduate in 2021. The FYS is the first step in preparing you for the next three years and
to help you finish your degree in time.
