CHRISTIANITY BELIEF IN LIFE AFTER DEATH & SUFFERING

These are the topics that you can answer from.

“God’s love is seen in the HOLY SPIRIT which can inspire individuals to do great acts of love. This will allow believers to go to Heaven.”

Why is there suffering?

Is there life after death?

Remember you can do the question on suffering or the question on belief of life after death. Not both. One or the other….

The greatest Christian message is LOVE ONE ANOTHER As God loved you.

“Mother Teresa is regarded as a “Saint” someone who cared for others.

She did so with out thinking of herself. She loved others selflessly. She is a model Christian. She sacrifices her life to serve. SHE FINDS SALVATION in GIVING.”

Is there life after death?

What evidence is there?

Why do people need to believe in life after death?

Is religious belief rational?

Many are sincere in their devotion to God.

Should we be asking the questions why do people have faith?

Jesus is a figure of hope for Christians. He is a model example.

He offers opportunity to work out your salvation on earth with good deeds.

People suffer

Free will allows CHRISTIANS to help others and also to do nothing.

This is their choice. God gave Christians this interesting possibility….

Many figures in Christianity are examples of suffering. Here we see Mary realising that Jesus would suffer in his life.

Every Christian will understand that they will suffer. It is how that suffering is accepted that matters.

The story raises all sorts of questions. This is good because debate and discussion are important. We want to learn the truth.

Can we really know about Adam and Eve or is that just a matter of belief?

Adam & Eva are cast out of paradise

People suffer because we have free will. If we choose not to help others that is our choice

People suffer and look for hope.

THE DEATH & RESURRECTION OF JESUS

What do these events mean for Christians.

The death & Resurrection Of JESUS is central to Christianity.

Jesus comes back to life and this solves lots of the difficulties in the world.

Jesus death on the cross was a brutal crucifixion. The word for the whole experience is the PASSION OF CHRIST

INRI

The Suffering Of Jesus on the Cross is an important part of the support God gives to his people

The agony on the cross is a sign of God’s love for all. God endured this pain, this humiliation for all sinners.

“ For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son”

Christians believe Jesus really suffered on the cross and that his death was real.

This is important because Christians identify closely with the fact that the Son of God suffered like they do.

Christians take comfort from Jesus’ suffering

If he was willing to die for us and he was innocent. Then this gives me courage to bear my pain in their life

Christians believe that Jesus rose form the dead on the third day.
