Program World Camp 2012

• Arrival in Paraguay: 13 July

• Start World Camp: 14 July

• 14 – 17 July: getting to know each other, presentations of each others cultures and countries, visit to Asuncion and a lot of games and activities…

• 18 – 19 July: little tour to get to know Paraguay. Excursion to the National Park of Ibyku’I and a visit to the world’s largest water dam of Taipu

• 20 – 28 July: the group will be split up into 3 smaller, mixed groups. Each group will depart for one of the 3 projects.

• During the projects, the participants will stay with host families.

• 29 July: travel back to Villa Hayes

• 30 July – 2 August: activities, evaluation and celebration of 50 years of FIMCAP!

• 2 August: end of World Camp

LimpioBuilding a playground for children in a local

school + organising activities for the children in the indigineous hospital of

Limpio

LimpioThe corner of the school where in July a new playground will be constructed, with the help of FIMCAP!

The hospital, where we will organise activities for the children of families who are staying there.

RemansitoConstruction of a building that will become

the community centre for the neighbourhood and the place where the

local group of NIPPAC will do their activities

The playground that urgently needs some renovation

The 3 projects

• In each of the 3 villages a local NIPPAC group is active, they will coordinate the project and organise activities for the participants.

• Breakfast will be in the host families. The other meals will be shared with the whole group.

What is expected from participants during the World Camp?

• Presentation of your own country during a cultural evening

• Presentation of your organisation and a typical game of your organisation

• Active participation through games and songs from your country

Points of attention!

• English will be the main language for the participants. A good knowledge of English is required.

• Only few people in Paraguay speak English. Try to learn some words in Spanish before coming.

• The camp life can be more basic that you are accustomed to at home. Be prepared for this.
