Eating is one of thebasic activities or oneof the strongestfeelings animals feeland experience..Through this, animalsneed to get or findfood in order for themto sustain their energyand to be alive.

Animals are divided into two

groups

a.Vertebrates

b. invertebrates

Animals that have backbones. Their skeletons, called endoskeletons, are found inside their bodies. There are five types: mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and fishes.

Animals without backbones . They are sponges, insects, arachnids and spiny skinned and hallow bodied animals.

These are the animals that

eat plants only. They are very abundant in the community. The plants that they eat are being converted to energy hat will be stored in their body tissues for use

are called carnivores. The

meat can be from other living

animals or animals that have

died. Many meat eaters hunt

the animals that they eat.

Sharks go after smaller fish.

Birds are warm-blooded, winged animals. Most of them can fly though some cannot. They are covered with feathers.

this invertebrates are joined-legged. They have hard skeletons on the outside of their bodies. Ex. Cricket ,fly, scorpion, termite.

Annelids are often called worms. One common example is the earthworm. Earthworms have segmented bodies.

Animals have structural and behavioural forms of adaptation to a particular environment in order to protect themselves, to get food and survive.
