FALL WINTER COLLECTION 15/16

A call to those modern day rebels, rabble-rousers, novel zealots and championed hoodlums.

The momentum of deconstruction before assembly has a r r i ved. Through so lemn composure on ly,

we can be truly anarchic. Hearts on our s leeves, s tepp ing out aga ins t sys temic order.

Rules shall be bent, as societal salvation is appraised.

Actions are react ions. Sartor ia l ly expressed hereas aesthet ic disguises sport ing emblems of real i ty. For FW15, ANDREA CAMMAROSANO re-arranges

oxidized pat ina, distressed surfaces and f in ishings al legor ical ly. Each garment is part of a symbol ic s i lhouette, ta l l , control led yet languid and subt ly defying. The col lect ion comprises needle fe l ted

embroidery, rusted surfaces and voluminous pleated construct ions. Torn uni forms become solemn and

frayed knits appear as symbols of valor. The not ion of detachable décor under l ines the pieces’

funct ional decomposit ion.

Exemplary of th is, is a cropped jacket in sturdy wool f lannel , doubl ing as an oversized trench, due to alarge detachable panel . A combed wool sweater with needle

fe l ted embroider ies which resemble v ibrant surface pat ina is paired with 1940s-inspired slacks with

cartr idge-pleated asymmetr ies. Juxtaposed to this, stern shir t ing and gabardines appear adorned with

interchangeable belt loop motives, enabl ing for pr ints to be shi f ted wi l l fu l ly. The colorway ranges from dark

burgundy, army green, rusty orange to deep blacks and a hint of ochre. FW15 invi tes ravishing dissidents

away from torrent ia l dogmas, into new manners of inst igat ion, towards sensible revolut ions.
