Original Synopsis

A pretty but poor girl who has to run withbare feet named Karen,she is adopted by a richold lady after her mother's funeral.

Karen gets a pair of red shoes by tricking the old lady.

Karen attends to a party withher red shoes. Unfortunately,after beginning to dance,the shoes are out of controland she can't stop dancing.

An angel appears to her,and condemns that she will dance even after dying, as a warning tovain children every-where..

Karen is dancing from dawnuntil dark, until begging anexecutioner to chop off her feet. He does and Karen loses her feet.

Karen has learned her lesson ,and get peace and welfare.

Karen decided to go to the ball instead of taking care of sick mom. She couldn’t stop dancing because of the red shoes and get punished.

She was a good nature girl but she got along with a bad friend and addicted into drugs (red shoes). There are two different Karen inside herself, one positive and the negative.
