Problem

HPC tools are primarily command line Hard to remember syntax to accomplish

things Not everyone knows Unix Difficult for applications outside HPC to

access resources Application Programming Interface for

developers to interact with HPC resources

Our Solution

Create a web-enabled front end for accessing the HPC

Make the interface “windows-like” for ease of use

Create a web based API to allow for programming interaction with the HPC

A spin off from the CHSSI EQM-4 Integration effort started in 2004
