Expertise of 135 years 2006 ils speth GmbH emerged from the integration of well-

established individual enterprises

– the company Carl-August speth founded in 1874 which started with

the production of textile machines, screws and machined parts

– the company Karl lenzner drehteile (turnedparts) founded in 1921

– the company Fedder & löhr founded in 1973 which produced

aluminium die casting and started in 1998 additionally with the

production of forged parts in solingen

– and the company iMK druckguss GmbH which produced zinc die

casting products since 1980 in Velbert.

As an enterprise of the EMKA Group the expertise fields of

duct development work and preparation of

drawings is done with state-of-the-art CAd

systems. On the basis of this data the tool

making department is able to produce all kinds

of zinc die casting tools. Customer require-

ments according to design and function can be

incorporated efficiently before starting with

production. state-of-the-art controlled hot

forming zinc die casting machines guarantee

reliable production with consistent quality.

these machines are equipped with industrial

robotics and achieve 20t – 315t of closing force

producing casting parts between 1 kg and

2,500 kg.

the automated mechanical rework is an addi-

tional factor for the efficient production of high

quality parts.

Additional production steps include threading,

grinding, polishing, thermal deburring and slide

grinding of the produced part becoming a fini-

shed product. the product gets its last tweak in
