By the end of this session, you will be able to:

Access resources on the Moodle EU law course, Find the EU Law reading list on the Library Catalogue, Find relevant eBooks using the Library Catalogue and/or

eBook platforms, Recognise the main journals for EU law and search for

articles, Find Court of Justice judgments online Identify the major official EU websites, Select appropriate databases and free websites for EU

legal materials. Complete the assessments for this element of the course.

Library Catalogue: What are the shelfmarks for EU Law? 341.2422 International Law is at 341 341.2 is the number for “the World community” 341.242 is the number for European regional

associations and organisations 341.2422 is the number specifically for the European

Union.

349.4 “Law on specific jurisdictions and areas of the

modern world” is at 349 349.4 is the number specifically for Western Europe.

Library Catalogue: other related shelfmarks for EU 320.94 320.9 is the number for Political Science and

320.94 is specifically for Europe. 327.4 327 is the number for International Relations and

327.4 is specifically for Europe. 352.33094 352 is the number for Public Administration.

There are various subdivisions, 352.33094 is the number for decision making in relation to Europe.

eBooks

E-books are books available in a variety of electronic formats such as PDF and ePub and you can access them on and off campus via the Library & It tab in the University portal

How to access our e-books • Via the University portal by navigating to the Library

Databases and Electronic Information Resources page from the e-Library channel in the Library & IT tab.

• Search and browse content in the e-book platforms. Just select Dawsonera, MyiLibrary, Cambridge Books or Oxford Scholarship Online from the A-Z list of e-resources.

• E-books are also listed in the Library Catalogue and can be retrieved from search results by choosing Electronic Books from the Refine Your Search menu.
