Obeying God’s Law

Happy are those whose way is

blameless, who walk in the law

of the Lord.

Happy are thosewho keep his decrees, who seek him with their whole heart.

I will observe your statutes; do not utterly forsake me.

First be reconciled to your brother

or sister, and then come

and offer your gift.

Come to terms quickly with your accuser.

Do not swear, either by heaven,

for it is the throne of God,

or by the earth, for it is his

footstool.

Let your word be "Yes, Yes'

or "No, No'; anything more

than this comes from the evil one.
