The Protege Group encourages the practice of physical activities offering stretch breaks to its employees.

By hiring healthcare companies, that program helps improving the quality of life of employees.

Stretch breaks take place at several units of the Protege Group and efforts are being made to promote them in units that have not yet joined the pro-gram.

The program's monthly newsletter encourages and informs employees on the importance of physical exercise, the balance between leisure and work, and of keeping up a healthy diet.

The “Protege Well Being” newsletter publishes tips on health, diet care, and physical exercises; it also includes a calendar featuring the major sport-ing events that take place in Brazil.

The operational bases of Campo Grande and Presidente Prudente orga-nized a "Challenge Day", which included several physical activities to show how they improve health and well-being in general.

The operational base of Presidente Prudente further held an Anti-smoking Campaign, whose several activities demonstrated the harms of smoking. It also launched the "Life is Better without AIDS" campaign to support the Government's national AIDS prevention action. Condoms and brochures with guidelines on that issue were distributed at the event.
