Fully integrated business DECT solutionUnlike standalone or residential DECT
phone solution, Ericsson-LG Enterprise has
integrated business DECT solution with its
industry leading SME PBX solutions. The
integration makes feature implementation
much easier and simpler. Floor managers
do not need to run for a fixed terminal for
voice paging. Users can send voice paging
with DECT handset to pre-assigned desk
phone. Not to mention, typical PBX features
are provided such as Call transfer(Screened,
Unscreened, Executive/Secretary), Call
back, Hold, MWI, Call forward, Camp on, etc.
Seamless call connection is secured over the
multiple cell coverage.
Cost effective multi cell solutionBusiness DECT solution should not cost
too much especially for small and medium
sized business. Ericsson-LG Enterprise has
developed the DECT solution architecture
best affordable for SME. Since commonly
used resources and complicated feature sets
are already implemented in systems, users
can simply choose the scale of DECT solution
only by attaching optimally designed DECT
components. PBX built in DECT interface
gateway for multi cell interface, simultaneous
multi channel handling base station and
full featured system DECT terminal are
configurable from 1 cell up to 24 cells without
causing significant initial investment or any
hidden cost.
Easier and simpler managementConsistent management system also helps
reducing manager’s workload. Managers only
need to access a single admin user interface
for adding and changing DECT related
features just as they manage the system. To
make cell planning easier, managers can
utilize iPECS GDC-600TB(Site survey tool)
to find the best location for base station. In
addition, managers can measure real time
radio strength, current channel and base
station number with iPECS GDC-480H/500H.
With iPECS NMS installed, managers can
monitor real time status of DECT handset
as well as wireless gateway. DECT related
statistics are also provided for maintenance
purpose.
Flexible deployment scenarioEricsson-LG Enterprise provides a choice of
DECT deployment scenarios for a wide range
of businesses. Users have choice of handset
for most common office environment or
challenging environment. iPECS GDC series
provide cost effective but still fully system
integrated DECT features for most business
users. If the job environment demands a
tougher handset, iPECS GDC-480H/500H
should fit perfectly with ruggedized housing
and glove friendly large key pad. Depending
on the number of cells required for cell
planning, iPECS GDC-600BE provides 6
simultaneous voice channels. By employing
IP DECT architecture, the business can
expand the cell coverage without having a
physical limitation. Simply plug an IP/DECT
gateway(WTIM) to the network as well as
the base stations, and the handset will bring
integrated system DECT features right away.

Real-time presence lets the attendant take alternate action, such as sending the call to voice mail, or just clicking the station icon to transfer.
Flexible and efficient call han-dlingThe queue window displays the call waiting list along with waiting time and priority. By using simple mouse clicks or drag and drop action, calls can be answered in order of importance. While on a call, the attendant can search the directory or the phone book to find the destina-tion name or number, so as to quickly transfer calls. Should the user be busy, the attendant can send a text message or, if conditions war-rant, intrude on the user’s call to alert them of an important call waiting for them. By using programmed keys, alternative call handling features such as paging, call park or E-mail are easily set or accessed.
Soft Phone integrationThe iPECS Attendant connects over your LAN to the system and synchronizes with the
attendant’s telephone. Regardless of thegeographic location of your attendant, the iPECS Attendant software synchronizes with the system to provide the attendant real-timesystem and user information over a TCP/IP connection. The iPECS Attendant has an embedded soft phone that enables various call features without additional hardware, such as a desktop phone. Using simple and flexible con-figurations, your attendant can be fully produc-tive with or without a hard phone, thus reducing the total cost of ownership of the system.
Simple directory managementThe iPECS Attendant links with local and corporate contact databases for quick access to contact phone numbers. The iPECS Attendant software is compatible with Excel, ACT! and Goldmine formats. Flexible local database interface and back up to the local hard disk drive enable the attendant to easily manage all contacts. The operator can easily add, modify and delete the information as well as import and export external data from and to the directory.
Intuitive User InterfaceThe ability to provide efficient and quick call handling is the key for attendants and the
iPECS ® Attendant’s intuitive user interface provides the operator with clear user status and traffic information to be able to prioritize calls in any order. The attendant can also set up the display layout, icon or list type, font and button labels depending on his or her individual preference or company specific requirements or policies.
Even more productive enhance-ment toolThe iPECS Attendant software can quickly locate other users and send important text messages to any iPECS phone with display including wireless DECT or Wi-Fi handsets as well as to remote terminals. Local language support displays prompts and text in any desired language so your attendant can be more pro-ductive without any language barrier.With the iPECS Attendant software, the operator can perform basic administrative functions for other users, such as assigning flexible buttons, alarm/wake-up calls and defining sta-tion groups. Management can run statistical reports so as to understand call flow, number, density, and handling of calls.
