Students and staff are currently bringing their own. RTSD does not currently have a policy.

Online Learning

• District commitment• Several teachers will be participating in

summer training related to how to teach online

• Proposals currently under review

Social Media/AUP

Teachers are using social media in their classrooms.

Need ways to harness the power for instruction.

Need to amend our policy to reflect the use of these tools.

Meet every other month depending on the needs of the group

Summer Work

1. Conduct your own research • refer to resources on the wiki)

2. Contact other districts• watch your group wiki page and look for

notifications in email• Complete the Connecting with Other Sites sheet

• Upload your sheet to your group wiki page (or send it to Joan if you have difficulty)

• Review your group wiki page and be ready to discuss on August 16th
