Ā-län by Rhea Ahong's debut collection, Emblazon. Ā-län, as the name states, is the phonetic spelling for Élan which speaks to distinctive style or panache. The first collection, Emblazon is based on butterflies and plays on their whimsical nature. Just as the butterfly goes through its stages before unveiling its innate beauty to the world, so too does every woman whilst discovering herself. The prints illustrated in this collection, were created solely by Rhea Ahong, by designing the patterns after various types of Caribbean butterflies; ones that are popularly known throughout the islands!
