In some classrooms the lights are on during school hours,

because natural light isn’t uniform

Classes and aisles are painted in yellow and white to reflect the light better

We use fluorescent lamps for lighting

There are different switches for each section of the classroom

Always turn off the lights when lessons are over !!!!

There is a classroom

with a special lighting

system to control

fluorescent lamps

according to the level

of natural light. The

consumption is much

lower than in the other

classrooms

COMPUTERS, PRINTERS, PHOTOCOPIERS ARE USUALLY TURNED OFF WHEN THEY AREN’T BEING

USED, ESPECIALLY AT THE WEEKEND

The lift is only used by people with disabilities or for

taking up or down heavy loads

Our school has had a photovoltaic solar panels system installed on the roof of the building

Electricity produced is sold to an electric company
