So now that you know what to look for in a good website, how can you do an effective search to find a good website?

N Narrow your search by stringing together carefully chosen word or phrases.

E Put quotation marks around exact phrases.

S Limit your search by using the site modifier technique i.e. site:gov to tell the search engine the type of site you want.

T Find other information on a website by trimming the URL.

The least effective way of searching is to type a question

in a search engine!
