Editing Images

Original Image:

This is the original image that I took of Jonny playing the guitar in a field. I decided that I liked this image but thought the shot should be closer.

Cropping Image:

I cropped the image, to make Jonny stand out more and to take away all the background. I felt that this looked more eye catching and liked how he filled the majority of the image.

Editing Image:I edited the image by adjusting the different image settings. I toned the colours down so it was slightly duller and also added a satin effect to the image. I felt that the effects made the image more eye catching and interesting.

Editing Image:I altered different image adjustments to create this different effect. For this one I added a sepia tone to the image, to try and make the colours appear as being more natural. I also played around with different image effects.

Original Image:

This is the original image of Jonny’s feet and the guitar. After doing deconstructions, I found that the album cover doesn’t necessarily have to be of the artists face and therefore I decided to experiment with the use other parts of his body.

Cropping Image:Again, I decided to crop the image so that it fills the frame better. This got rid of bits of the background and helped to make it more eye catching

Editing Image:I edited the image by altering some of the different image adjustments. I made the colours stand out slightly more and played around with the brightness and contrast of the image

Editing Image:I used various photo filters to create this effect. I also experimented with other image adjustments like the vibrancy and colour balance.

Original Image:

This is the original image of Jonny. He is looking out to see, and holding the guitar.

Cropping Image:

I cropped the image so that Jonny is in the centre. I also made it square so it’ll be suitable for an album cover.

Editing Image:

I edited the image by changing the brightness and contrast slightly. Also, by added a sepia photo filter to it. I felt this helps to make it have a more natural feel to it.

Original Image:

This is the original image of Jonny face. He is looking directly at the camera, helping to draw viewers in.

Cropping Image:

I cropped the image and made it square. This cut out the bricks slightly and made Jonny the main focus of the shot.

Editing Image:I altered the image by changing the brightness and contrast and also by added a colour filter to it. I also blurred out the background slightly in order to make Jonny stand out more.

Editing Image:I added an artistic effect to the image. This made the image more contrasted and it has slight brush strokes on it.
