The documentary film Someday Melissa, the Story of an
Eating Disorder, Loss and Hope offers an inside look at life
with an eating disorder—painful and devastating, but ultimately
a starting point on the road to recovery. This intimate look at
one young woman’s struggle invites viewers to get to know
Melissa, to imagine themselves in her place, and to envision
new possibilities for their own lives. It is recommended that
anyone under the age of 16 be accompanied by an adult.
Discussion after the film will be facilitated by Jennie Kramer,
MSW, LCSW, Founder & Executive Director, Metro Behavioral
Health Assoc., Eating Disorders Centers and Marcie Schneider,
MD, FAAP, FSAM, Founder of Greenwich Adolescent Medicine,
LLC.
